Fill up with E85 fuel for 85 cents a gallon
Owners of flex-fuel vehicles can fill up with E85 fuel for 85 cents a gallon at a grand opening event 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the city's first Kum & Go, 2190 Vickers Drive.
The event marks the opening of the ninth E85 fueling station in Colorado Springs. E85, a mixture of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent regular gasoline, can be used in flex-fuel vehicles to reduce emissions and support a domestically produced renewable resource. Kum & Go has 95 locations with E85 and 69 biodiesel locations in 11 states.
